Reporting to the CEO, you bring the best out in others. Someone who defines their success by the growth and development of the team they head. A successful Operations Manager at Elite will oversee our expert Travel Associates with ease and confidence. You will be the compass which steers the Operations team to success. In addition to this, you will utilize your proven organizational skills to manage a Corporate Travel portfolio of your own. Structure and organization will be critical to your success in this role.

Responsibilities of this Role:

• Actively managing a portfolio of corporate travel clients
• Leading our Operations team to success by achieving team targets
• Attending client review meetings with the Travel Associates
• Acting as the main point of contact for Operations with the support team
• Handling client issues with poise and a ‘client first’ frame of mind
• Be an active contributing team member. At Elite, our culture is a big deal!
• Ensure Elite’s best practice service levels are met and exceeded
• Create team and individual budgets
• Afterhours and weekend work as required
• Maintain a 95%+ client retention rate
• Travel if needed (once quarterly)
• Other duties may be assigned based on company needs

Skills Crucial to Success in this Role

• Expert knowledge in the GDS Sabre is an asset but not required
• A strong understanding of financial modelling and budgets
• Exceptional attention to detail

Education and additional considerations:

• Post-Secondary education in Business or Travel and Tourism is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience is a must. Preference will be given if with a travel company
• Ability to meet employment eligibility requirements in Canada
• Agrees to background checks to confirm that you are bondable
